What this reading explores
Astrology interprets the positions of celestial bodies through a symbolic tradition. A personal chart can include more than a sun sign, with different placements associated with themes such as expression, relationships and priorities. The depth of a reading and the information required depend on the type of astrology being used.
Make it personal
An astrology conversation may explore the themes of a birth chart or a particular period of change. Ask what information Malana needs and which part of the chart she will discuss. Interpretations should make room for your circumstances rather than assume that everyone with the same sign has the same experience.
Before your visit
If a birth-chart approach is available, you may be asked for a birth date, approximate time and place. Confirm this first and share only what is needed for the reading. If you do not know your birth time, ask what can still be explored without it.
Your questions, answered
Is my sun sign the whole chart?
No. Traditional birth charts contain multiple placements and relationships between them.
What if I do not know my birth time?
Ask which reading format is appropriate. Some chart details depend more heavily on an accurate time than others.
